In 1874, in the Russian Empire, travel aristocratic Anna Karenina from St. Petersburg to Moscow for to save the marriage of his brother Prince Oblonsky, who had an affair with his maid. Anna Karenina is a cold marriage with her husband, Count Alexei Karenin, and they have a son. Ana meets a cavalry officer Count Vronsky at the railway station, and they are attracted to each other. Soon discovers that Vronsky suggest Kitty, who is the younger sister of her sister-in-law Dolly. Ana satisfactory solution to the case of adultery by her brother and Kitty are invited to stay for good. But Anna Karenina and Vronsky dance at the ball, drawing attention to the conservative society. Soon there is an affair that will bring Anna Karenina to a tragic fate. |
